Success Stories

Center 128 East – 89 A Street, Needham, MA

SharkNinja needed corporate real estate advisory services for establishing and growing their US headquarters as well as global footprint. Locally, the organization grew with a multi-building campus and needed to strategically consolidate operations with one HQ building to enhance collaboration between engineering, product marketing and the core team. Further, global operations had grown to require additional capacity to facilitate future success.

Landmark worked relentlessly in collaboration with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank to effectively manage growth globally and locally, find the right HQ location that fit all the parameters of the search, facilitated negotiations, financial projections and most importantly, delivered outstanding results to meet SharkNinja's needs.

“The Landmark team has been phenomenal! They have been an integral part of our growth as our primary real estate advisor helping us navigate growth of over 500% with R&D and commercial office needs while being mindful of space efficiency, our branding and cost. We truly appreciate their full commitment to our continued success!”

Harvest Power

200 Fifth Avenue, Waltham, MA

The Challenge

Harvest needed advisory services for dispositioning a portion of their HQ space in a short period of time, while establishing a new location that provided better access, amenities, and a unique experience to support their brand identity.

Landmark worked relentlessly to optimize the outcome for Harvest Power: a) marketing and dispositioning the excess space in short period of time, and b) identifying a range of options, negotiating with top contenders, and securing the best real estate solution to meet Harvest’s needs – Awesome!

As a former member of the military, I appreciate trust, accountability and execution. Landmark has instilled these characteristics in their approach to service and did an outstanding job for our firm. Our new headquarters came out perfect, on-time and on budget – awesome job!

2400 District Ave, Burlington, MA

The Challenge

QuickPivot desired to relocate their headquarters from Boston to a metropolitan setting with a space solution to include a combination of collaborative space and private offices, a board room and conference rooms, a kitchen with seating, and a branded welcome area. Also included in the requirement was a need for furniture, space to accommodate a growing headcount, and a convenient transportation option for travel from Boston.

Landmark worked relentlessly to find the right location that fit all the parameters of the search with minimal impact to the capital expenditures budget. This included securing an option with the appropriate timing for occupancy given QuickPivot’s existing location as well as a tenant improvement allowance and project oversight for the headquarters move and buildout.

“Our team engaged Landmark Real Estate Advisors to oversee all aspects of our site search, selection and move from Boston to Burlington in the spring of 2019. We were extremely pleased with their oversight of the budget, timeline and project scope. They coordinated seamlessly with the landlord, construction teams and all vendors servicing our move. As a result of their strategic advice, responsiveness, attention to detail and vendor negotiations we achieved significant savings of over 25% throughout the project and moved our 75+ employees into the new space on-time. We highly recommend Landmark for both tenant advisory and project management for your future moves.”

Consulate of Mexico

55 Franklin Street, Boston, MA

The Consulate's office was no longer effectively supporting the Mexican citizens. The new Consul General needed to evaluate alternatives and possibly establish a new location that would provide access, security, and improve functionality to the public.

Landmark was engaged to meet the challenge with urgency. Our team reviewed the situation, advised key staff regarding various options, and found site alternatives that met the Consulate’s detailed space, location and budgetary guidelines. We provided essential information required for the US Department of State to approve the new location, and the new premises were established within a tight timeframe.

“Throughout this process, Landmark demonstrated professionalism, imagination, creativity, great ability and tireless drive to overcome obstacles and to come up with options and ideas for the type of space that would best suit our needs. Their negotiating skills were also crucial to a smooth move out process. Landmark provided comprehensive analysis that mitigated risk and delivered value at every turn. All along, they diligently delivered expert detailed advice and a comprehensive analysis of potential solutions to our needs... We are very satisfied with the results and I personally am very pleased that we chose Landmark as our real estate advisor.”
